Step into the mouth of the fire breathing dragon or march with a raised fist into the devils' pit, whichever way you choose to spend your time at Copenhell, be sure to leave your soul at the entrance and get ready to embark on a journey of self discovery and pain... in a good way!
For 4 days and some sleepless nights, Copenhell takes over the Refshaleoen area of Copenhagen. An old shipyard area and centrally located, the festival has played host to some of the biggest live metal acts around. 2022 was no different and to experience one of the craziest and exciting festivals on the circuit, we were able to feast on bands including Detroits finest, Kiss, nu metal king, Korn and a host of amazing Danish talent including Baest & D.A.D.
It's hard to imagine that Copenhell has only been in our lives since 2010 as it feels like it has been a part of Scandanavian folklore since the viking era! At least, this place makes you feel like part of the family and part of Scandanavian history at the same time!
It doesn't matter if you're a seasoned Copenhell veteran or if you will be ripping off the noose for the first time at this festival, you will probably be itching to devour the combination of beer, food and metal music that the festival offers in abundance.

The beauty of this festival is that it is centrally located to Copenhagen and getting to the site is pretty easy by bike, electric scooter or bus. When the weather is nice, a long stroll with a few roadies, will always make for a fantastic entrance to the festival and with roadside entertainment and music belting out of the garden stereos, it's impossible to not build up a sense of excitement with every step you take closer to the site.
Copenhell can be considered one of the safest and friendliest festivals on the circuit and there has been minor incidents and accidents reported over the years which is a testament to the organisers and volunteers that work tirelessly to bring this outstanding festival to our shores.

The festival not only brings some of the worlds finest rock music to your ears, but caters for people wanting to see some alternative entertainment, ranging from late night Rock-a-oke! to truck smashing and a new addition to 2022, Comi-con, which was a mix of comic book stalls and people dressed in crazy outfits from some of our favourite sci-fi films of time gone by.
The food and drink on site is also of the finest calibre and with a mix of meat loving plates to veggie treats and local brews to help sip your way through the frantic array of activities to keep you busy for the festival!
Mixing the rough and ready approach of the outer arenas with some fantastic under cover chill areas, makes Copenhell a festival for all, including families.
If you are looking for a festival packed with entertainment and outright naughty shit, then get yourself down to what we consider to be one of the best value, soul filling festivals out there!!
A massive thank you to Monster energy drink for supplying us with much needed refreshment and support over the past few years and as always the guys at Sony Nordic for supporting our set up.
Copenhell 2023... we're all on our way again!
